B460

I was sleeping last night. Then all I could hear was B460 over and over. I usually get my story ideas while in the shower. Something about the water opens all the creative channels, and then the words just come flowing out. But last night, the words B460 were deafening. So here we go…

Before age 60. What we need to know. First and probably most important, we are a lot more powerful than we think we are. But we pollute our power, listening to the wrong people. It is time to correct that. No matter what your age. You are responsible for your programming.

Programming? Sit with the warriors, the conversation is different. I love that saying. So many times we are attracted to people for what they have. That’s a mistake. Don’t be impressed for what people have. Be impressed how they got it. Be impressed by those who can teach you to go out and get your own. That’s where the power lies.

Point number two. Tomorrow is just as important as today. I know, you thought I would never say anything like that, given my life long meditation practice. While all we have at any given moment, is this moment, tomorrow is coming for most of us. Start thinking {and preparing} for the future. What does that mean? It could mean many things. Positioning yourself by learning a new skill. Saving for the future {a vastly underrated skill}. Letting go of stress…

Stress almost always resides in the future. We’re stressed about what might happen. See point number two. Go to therapy, tell someone to fuck off, or be firm in your boundaries. Boundaries keep us dancing. And dancing beats the blues. Whatever you need to do to keep your mental health inline, do it. And make no apologies about it. Those who belittle you, are the first ones who need to go.

Blaze a path. Enjoy the journey, forget about the destination. Be a forward thinker. Be a free thinker. Don’t follow the crowd. They know nothing about you. And regarding the path, travel as much as you can, if you can. New cultures and people who don’t look, think or act like you, will open more doors than anything else will. And when I say doors, I mean your mind.

There are so many things that I could speak on regarding B460. But for the purpose of this blog, I will simplify.

1. You are more powerful than you think. If you don’t believe this, you have given away your power already.

2. Chase people who can teach you. It’s like getting the answers to a test.

3. Protect your mental health at all cost. Because it will cost you everything if you don’t.

4. Travel. Both in your mind and body. There is true magic in the journey.

So why 60? I don’t know. Maybe because I turned 59 last month. Looking back, the 4 points that I mention have served me well, especially when life wasn’t. What’s on your list? Whatever it is, do it. 60 comes quickly. And before you know it, it is ashes to ashes and dust to dust. Leave this planet knowing that you lived a full life and with a full heart.
