Bullshit And Bystanders

When did we stop trusting ourselves? I posted a meme earlier today that said “I get vibes, and the vibes tell me whether to mess with you or not.” It was one of those memes that stuck out to me a few weeks back, that today I randomly posted. But I started to think about it after I posted it. Why don’t we trust these vibes more often?

You know as a mental health professional, a lot of people come to me looking for validation. While I am more than happy to help them process the problem, it’s not for me to tell you what is right and what is wrong. I think far too many of us give away far too much of our power. But why? One of reasons is because if it doesn’t work out, they can point the finger at you. I am all about building a team, tribe or family, but sooner or later you’re going to have to walk alone.

We doubt ourselves because we don’t believe in ourselves. Somewhere along the line, someone said some bullshit and we bought into it. And from that moment on, our light dimmed a little. And every time we don’t trust ourselves, we go a little further into the darkness. But there is good news. We can reverse the curse. We can stop asking questions. We can stop looking for permission. We can actually trust that vibe. It will feel uncomfortable at first. And you will probably get it wrong a few times. But as you learn to trust the vibe, the frequency becomes louder and purer. You’ll start to get it right. Your light wards of the bullshit and negative bystanders. You’ll actually attract what you need. All you have to do is trust.

You know the insecurities you have? Sit with them. Try and remember what the point of origin is. Forgive yourself for relinquishing your power. When they say everything you want is on the other side of fear, believe it! The vibe does not lie. But all of those external distractions dilute our ability to trust. Get quiet. Walk away. Stop asking the tarot cards and the coaches and everyone under the sun what is the right ting to do. You already know. You are powerful. But all the bullshit and bystanders are waiting to have their say. Don’t give it to them.
