Depth

I spend an obscene amount of time in meditation. For that reason, my circle is small. I like most people, love a good laugh. I like to keep it lite. But if you want to get to know me, you’re going to have to get deep. That’s where I reside. In a state that makes most uncomfortable. Because I question. I am a searcher of truth. The kind of truth that does not exist in books. Oh yeah, you’re going to have to go deeper.

Why is truth so important to me? Because there is a frequency that only truth has. A vibe that feels healthy. It does not judge, compare, nor care to be liked. It just is. And that is what I think so many are afraid of. We’ve all been programmed to a certain extent. Via our families, education or religious upbringing. I believe that those were merely the first step. The best education I ever had was, throwing myself into a life of service. Helping those that no one wanted to help. That society judged. Holding the dying and listening to their final words. That is where I found my truth.

I don’t consume alcohol, drugs or smoke weed. Doesn’t make me better than anyone. I simply find that truth {for me}, does not reside there. Truth resides in experience. In pain, questioning, and seeking. Truth requires you to suspend all that you were taught, and look at your beliefs from another point of view. But we’re so invested in labels, be it religious, political, race or something else, we often do not engage in the other side.

I’m an easy going man. I fit in pretty much everywhere. I believe that is because I am not afraid. I am not afraid to simply be. A searcher of truth. And that opens doors and keeps me neutral. People feel safe with me. And it is all because I am not threatened by your truth. My truth has always been love and kindness. Which is why my circle is small. It is a frequency that is hard to maintain. And if you don’t have it, it will be hard to reach me at the depths that I swim.
