I’m Going To The Dark Side

I’m going to the dark side. Not evil, but dark. Why? Because there are some things you can only learn from the dark. Like the silence, stillness and oneness. Until you have fully entered into the void, you just wouldn’t understand. But maybe that’s what the dark side is all about. Understanding.

External distractions deplete me. They distract me from the path. And at this particular moment, people, movement and words pull me further from the dark side. So, unless you can communicate with energy, you won’t see me. Because darkness is my sanctuary tonight. Darkness doesn’t make you a witch. However, in this case I am. And trust me, your understanding of the word witch, has no bearing on me.

Simon and Garfunkel sang, Hello darkness my old friend. I’ve come to talk with you again. That’s deep. Just because you see something, doesn’t mean you understand it. You have to go beyond sight and feel it, to understand the depths some things. Close your eyes to see me.

I’m going to the dark side. To protect me. To honor me. To love you. Join me. Not because we have cookies over here…come on that’s funny. But because we love authentically here. You have to feel it. You have to embody it. Then, and only then, will you appreciate the dark side.
